Abstract
The authors reflect on the life and works of Damodar Dharmananda Kosambi. The authors state that Kosambi was renowned in the 20th century for having versatile personality in various fields including archaeology, applied mathematics, and cultural studies. The authors also mention Kosambi's involvement in the World Peace Council and his pioneering work in numismatics, regarding the ancient documents of Sanskrit.
