Abstract
A collaborative project between a university and a local art museum in which art education graduate students tried to improve the presentation of cultural artifacts at the museum is described. This project involved students researching selected cultural artifacts from the museum collection, creating text and brochures that placed these artifacts in context for a special exhibition at the museum, and developing a curriculum unit of important lessons inspired by the artifacts for children visiting the museum.
