Abstract
Annealing-induced nanocrystallization in inhomogeneous, clusterized Fe-P-Si amorphous alloys has been studied using Mössbauer effect, elastic modulus, and internal friction measurements. The results demonstrate that flash lamp processing causes the clusters in the Fe82P16S alloy to dissolve, improving its magnetic properties, whereas the clusters in the Fe78P20Si2 alloy persist, and its hardness rises significantly [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
