Abstract
The article discusses the challenges faced by military grandparents and parents in maintaining close emotional ties and taking care of loved ones with special needs, particularly grandchildren. Also cited are the importance of connection between grandparents and grandchildren with special needs, as well as some recommended digital technologies to improve personal connection like FaceTime, Skype and Zoom.
