Abstract
The article discusses the German U-boat, or submarine, U-156's sinking of the American warship USS San Diego (ACR-6), under Captain Harley Hannibal Christy, in July 2018. The possibility that a German submarine mine or torpedo sunk the San Diego warship is discussed.
