Abstract
The article focuses on the cave Arene Candide located in Italy's northwestern Liguria region. Topics include a Paleolithic burial site near the cave entrance, the excavation work of archaeologist Vitale Sparacello of the University of Bordeaux, and the research being organized by the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage in Liguria, the Ligurian Archaeological Museum, the Archaeological Museum of Finale, and the Museum of Anthropology and Ethnology in Florence.
