Abstract
The article focuses on the customs and traditions associated with the Día de los Muertos or Day of the Dead celebrations in Mexico. Topics mentioned include the creation of private altars containing flowers, candles, photographs and favorite food and beverages of the departed loved ones, and the gatherings of family and friends at the graveyards.
