Abstract
The author explores the contemporary pedagogical concept of flipped classroom and the advantages of close reading. Topics discussed are the tenets of the flipped classroom model, differences of the interactive process and dynamics of a flipped classroom in terms of lectures and discussions of literature, and the changes to the approach to teaching prose fiction in order to build a perspectival framework.
