Abstract
Discusses the considerations for landlords and occupiers seeking to address the challenges resulting from the coronavirus pandemic. Analyses the Hong Kong court ruling in Wing v Xiong, on whether a tenancy was frustrated by an isolation order issued during the 2003 SARS epidemic, to illustrate the courts' possible approach to the COVID-19 crisis. Considers other potential arguments which might be raised following an enforced closure.
