Abstract
The reactor building is a completely enclosed ferroconcrete body with a double skin outer wall. It has smooth plaster on the inside with an adherent coating of welded plastic foil. Special attentton was given to the safety problems, especially the ventilation system. The ventilation system in normal operation prevents the escape of radioactive gases or aerosols, but in the case of accidents it can release exact doses. (auth)
