Spanish, 19th – 20th century, male. Born 28 September 1864, in Seville; died 7 January 1950, in Seville. Painter. Portraits, genre scenes, landscapes. Ricardo López Cabrera trained at the school of fine arts in Seville. In 1887, the young artist received a provincial grant which allowed him to study for two years in Rome. In 1909, he moved to Argentina where he stayed for 12 years, teaching at the school of fine arts in Córdoba. He returned to Spain in 1923, exhibiting in the major cities.
