Abstract
Modern society needs more creative a계ility and critical thinking as a kernel in a social value. Creative activity in Music class has to be dealt with effective method of teaching because it helps to develop their creative thinking. But the activities now in music class consists with limited contents because of deficiency in systemic program, circumstance and hardship. As a result, students began to lose their interest in the class.Most music textbooks for the first year of high school, which has published in 2014, contains about Schönberg and his twelve-tone theory. Nevertheless, it has not been highly utilized because of the lack of understanding, professionalism of teachers, limited contents and demanding conditions. This thesis is a Teaching Method, which is aimed at the first year of highschool students. First, explain about Interval, fundamental of serialism, and attitude asa composer. Second, analyze a prime-serial of the twelve-tone scale from the Schönberg‘s String Quartet No.4 Op.37,1st movement, and make students to construct three of modified-serials using the prime-serial. Also, a score of Bartok’s Mikrokosmos No.140 is presented to help students understand concept of the irregular time. Third, It needs to explain about Small Ternary Form before writing music using serials. The most important things of this writing music class are teacher’s effort and explanation with various materials. I wish this Teaching Method can be used as a effective materials for teaching student’s music class. Also, I hope this can help students have diverse music experiences and they continue to grow up with music.
