Abstract
John Kenneth Galbraith, an American institutional economist, is most associated and is prominently known for his study on power in social sciences. A study on Galbraith's power theory and its various components, such as, countervailing, corporate, persuasion, conditioned, and contingent, is presented. The purpose of the study is to introduce a new theoretical framework using these components.
