Abstract
We tested a core with amorphous magnetic material for pulsed power applications like as pulse transformer. The core was excited by short voltage pulses. The pulse generator consists of transmission line, a spark gap switch, a charging resistor, and a high voltage power supply. We reset the core by using a DC power supply and an inductor. We discussed about the experimental results of the magnetic core.
