Abstract
Generally the vacuum interrupter breaking method, which is most commonly used in 25.8kV medium voltage circuit breakers, it has excellent breaking performance when cutting off the current, while an electrostatic induced voltage is generated on the load side when opened. The electrostatic induced voltage on the load side was calculated and measured by assuming the electrostatic induced voltage at the rated ground voltage when open and the voltage when an abnormal voltage occurred. In addition, the result was confirmed when the secondary induction terminal voltage was measured by connecting the transformer load.
