Abstract
This letter presents a modified Schottky contact utilizing $MoO_{x}/Pd$ with Colloidal CdSe Quantum Dots to achieve spectrum selective self-powered photodetector. The detector shows a narrow FWHM of $67 nm$ (centered around $392 nm$ ) under the self-bias conditions. The detector also exhibits improved responsivity, EQE, and detectivity of $11.8 mA/W$ , 3.73 %, and $1.74\times 10^{10} Jones$ , respectively, at $\sim 392 nm$ under self-bias conditions. The optical properties of the device are also assessed using the Transfer Matrix Method (TMM). The numerically obtained results are also in agreement with the obtained photoresponse (within ~1.6%). The spectrum selective behavior and detector’s high figures of merit make it suitable for filter-free imaging applications under self-bias.
