Abstract
Drones are attractive for their consumer usage. They need high quality wireless communication with ground stations to carry out their flight plans. It is necessary to understand the communication quality between drones and base stations. The radio quality of drone flight site also should be understood. This paper proposes to estimate received radio quality of a drone body and a drone flight area. It also evaluates the proposed method using actual measured radio data at a drone flight site. Our evaluation achieved 4 dB error between the estimation and measured values. This paper also presents a service model of our proposed method.
