Abstract
This conceptual research paper aims to explore potential uses of AI-driven heuristics during the information gathering and analysis sub-processes of developing a business strategy and the related process improvement initiatives. Business Process Management (BPM) is a traditional approach to achieve process excellence, improved organizational performance, and a key component in digitization initiatives. Heuristics are widely used in BPM projects, but mostly without sophisticated analytical support. The end objective is to devise a model that utilises these heuristics in a structured manner.
