Abstract
A method for finding an approximate solution and parameter identification of a class of time varying systems is proposed. Properties of Fourier series are first briefly presented and the operational matrix for integration together with the product operational matrix are utilized to reduce the dynamical equations of a linear time varying system to a set of simultaneous linear algebraic equations. As illustrated in the examples the Fourier exponential approach has a very good accuracy in analysis and identification of time varying systems.
