Abstract
This paper studies the design of various microstrip patch antennas using metamaterials. Nowadays, metamaterials play a vital role in designing of antennas. A significant change results in antenna parameters after loading metamaterial due to their negative permeability and negative permittivity. Metamaterials like split ring resonators are widely used for enhancing antenna parameters. These artificial materials influence the resonator circuit. Metamaterial loaded antennas are widely used wireless applications, radar and biomedical applications.
