Abstract
This study was conducted with the aim of obtaining hot-deformed Sm(Fe,Ti) 12 magnets. Hot-deformed Sm(Fe,Ti) 12 magnets were produced from hot-pressed magnets. The hot-deformed Sm(Fe,Ti) 12 magnets had slight magnetic anisotropy. Microstructural studies revealed that these magnets consisted of equiaxed grains, not plate-like grains as in the case of Nd–Fe–B hot-deformed magnets.
