Abstract
In order to fully leverage the collective complementary advantages of micro-grids and distribution networks and to realize the optimized coordinated development of the distribution-grid system, this paper proposes a three-layer model-based coordinated planning approach for distribution micro-grid. At the uppermost optimization and allocation layer, an economic optimum model is developed, taking into account power supply reliability, the rate of new energy source integration, and energy storage lifetime degradation. In the middle operational optimization layer, micro-grid operational modes are thoroughly considered, making effective use of differences in load, distributed new energy sources, energy storage configurations, and power characteristics to maximize the flexibility of micro-grid regulation. In the lower interconnection and mutual support layer, the external demands or support capabilities of each micro-grid are considered, leading to the construction of a power mutual support model among multiple micro-grids, thus achieving interconnection and mutual support among micro-grids. Finally, based on the adjacent station areas in a specific province, the configuration of related equipment in the two micro-grids is optimized by selecting a reasonable operation mode of micro-grids, which verifies the feasibility and advancement of the proposed method.
