Multimodal sentiment analysis is a new direction in the field of emotion analysis and has become a research hotspot in recent years. This paper first briefly outlines the concept of multimodal sentiment analysis and its research background. Secondly, it sorts out the development context of existing text and image fusion, text and audio and video fusion sentiment analysis, then describes the multimodal data fusion method, and finally discusses the future development direction of multi-modal sentiment analysis. It is the intention of this study to provide corresponding reference value for workers in related fields.
