Abstract
In this paper, a multi-functional frequency selector rasorber(FSR) is designed. The structure consists of two modules, the first one being a lossy layer with resistors and the second one consisting of a polarization conversion module. The two modules are designed separately and finally combined together to achieve the function of integrated absorption and transmission. The FSR achieves $\vert \mathrm{S}_{11}\vert \leq-8\ \text{dB}$ in the full band from 2.1 to 12GHz at X-polarization and cross-polarization $> -3\text{dB}$ at X-band. The absorbing band from 2.5 to 8.3 GHz is realized under y polarization. The unit size is only $0.21\lambda_{\mathrm{L}}\times 0.21\lambda_{\mathrm{L}}\times 0.079\lambda_{\mathrm{L}},\lambda_{\mathrm{L}}$ is the low frequency wavelength, achieved low profile requirements.
