Abstract
In recent times the major telecom operators are offering IPTV services on new technology dedicated platforms over high capacity networks that provide enough bandwidth to transmit multimedia information, such as FTTx (Fiber to the home, building, curb, etc.) or xDSL networks with equivalent capacity (ADSL2+, VDSL, etc.). These IPTV architectures should be accompanied of management solutions aligned with the technology from the early stages of implementation in order to continue offering the same levels of quality of service.
