Abstract
•Coumarins from Pterocaulon lorentziiwere obtained using three different methods.•A dihydroxy-derivative was obtained in the aqueous and dichloromethane extracts.•Coumarin containing epoxy substituent was obtained by supercritical CO2extraction.•Supercritical CO2prevented the transformation of the coumarin.
