Abstract
The article focuses on the life and works of restorer Erminia Caudana and his relation with manuscripts stored in the Turin National University Library. Various topics discussed include manuscripts that destroyed in a fire in the library, statistics of the damage caused, his parchment manuscripts and their reconnaissance.
