Abstract
•Comorbidity is common in MS; little is known in NMOSD or beyond high-income regions•We examined comorbidities in the MS and NMOSD population in Zambia•Physical comorbidity affected more than 2 in 5 of Zambia's MS and NMOSD patients•Psychiatric disorders affected almost 1 in 5 of Zambia's MS and NMOSD patients•Odds of comorbidity (any or any physical) were >5-fold higher in MS versus NMOSD
