Abstract
The article discusses a study to examine the effects of an oral health intervention on caregivers of Head Start Children. The study concluded that the educational program has a significant effect on caregiver's knowledge, cognition, affect, and intent to provide oral health care to their children. Effective educational interventions are necessary in order to increase overall health in children and to decrease oral disease. The need for future quantitative studies is highlighted.
