The article highlights the wedding cake trends for 2014. Among the popular alternatives to traditional cakes mentioned are chocolate cake, hand-painted cakes, fun cakes and macaroons. Also featured are cake pops, ombré cakes, chevron detail, metallic, cupcakes, and sponge cakes with color variations.
