Abstract
The article offers advice about applying for a weight-loss program. It points out that a study published in "Preventive Medicine" affirmed the effectiveness of the non-dieting approaches which can prevent weight gain. The factors to consider when signing for a weight-loss program include health assessment, physical activity and cost. Several major weight-loss programs are profiled, including the Aspire for Life, Healthy Inspirations, and the Jenny Craig meal plan.
