Abstract
The article presents a study which examines whether low dose celecoxib combined with clozapine for management of schizophrenia may improve symptoms or not. Schizophrenia patients were allocated into two groups in a double-blind randomized clinical trial. The Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) was used to measure the severity of schizophrenia. The findings showed inconsistency with prior studies that report a significant effect for celecoxib combined with atypical antypsycotics.
