Abstract
The article presents a case study related to 55-year-old male admitted for cardiogenic embolic ischemic stroke work up including transthoracic (TT) and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) contrast study. Topics include the management of patent foramen ovale (PFO) still remains controversial, and the PFO size and the shunt has paramount importance for further management.
