Abstract
The article examines how lawsuits are mounting against social media companies alleged to have created addictions in teens that lead to mental and physical harm. Topics include adjoining fields drawing in new sets of plaintiffs and defendants armed with novel legal theories and evidence; and describing problematic social media use as an addiction and documenting a correlation between social media addiction and mental health problems.
