Abstract
The article offers advice for motor carriers on how to disclose disappointing financial results to lenders. Carriers must establish frequent communication with bankers and inform them about the challenges as soon as possible. It is important to bankers to understand corporate debt and if payroll taxes are being deposited. It is also necessary to apologize for the poor performance and how it may influenced the relationship with lenders.
