Abstract
Aim: The objective of this work is to investigate the MRR of novel 5 wt% Fly Ash reinforced aluminium alloy (AA7475) composite and compare it with aluminium alloy (AA7475). Material and Methods: Experiment was carried out for two groups namely Group 1 (Plain Aluminium alloy (AA7475)) and Group 2 (10 wt% Fly Ash reinforced aluminium alloy (AA7475) composite). The sample size calculation was done using G power calculator and 16 samples per group were taken for study. These pieces are machined in specific contour milling and are performed with different tools. Statistical analysis was performed using the SPSS Statistical tool. Results: It was inferred from the results that the MRR of the Plain Aluminium alloy (AA7475) was 451.40 mm3/min and 5 wt% Fly Ash reinforced aluminium alloy (AA7475) composite was 761.90 mm3/min showed a significance value obtained from statistical value analysis is 0.039 (p<0.05) than the Plain Aluminium alloy.
