Abstract
This article discusses the use of illustrated storytelling as a pedagogical tool in health professions education. Illustrated case studies, which combine pictures and text, are becoming increasingly popular in this field. The article provides an example of an illustrated case study called "In This Together" and describes the steps involved in implementing this approach. It emphasizes the importance of characters, conflict, and conclusion in storytelling and highlights the need for collaboration with a professional illustrator.
