Abstract
The article focuses on determining serum titanium levels in patients who have undergone instrumented spinal arthrodesis with titanium alloy implants. The method presented is a comparison of the serum titanium concentrations between patients with spinal instrumentation and control group without metallic implants. Results show higher serum titanium concentrations in patients with titanium spinal instrumentation compared with the control group.
