Abstract
The article offers information related to patterns and predictors of self‑harm in patients. Topics include the World Health Organization estimates that there are over 8 lakh suicide deaths every year, amounting to one death for every 40 s; and descriptive analysis has performed to describe relevant variables such as means, standard deviations, and frequencies.
