Abstract
A recent review of reported cases of IEI in patients from J Project countries suggested that 21 countries had a higher prevalence IEI than that currently reported for Moldova. Dr. Cerempei was the first doctor to diagnose a patient with an IEI in Moldova, and this diagnosis was later confirmed genetically at the University of Debrecen in Hungary. Dr. Cerempei, with exceptional ambition, managed to organize the first JP meeting in Chisinau in October 2008, paving the way for the establishment of JP activities in Moldova.
