Abstract
The article focuses on current insulin formulations. It says that insulation formulations have underwent evolution in their sources and purity with generation that offers improvements in clinical utility, safety and tolerability concerning hypoglycemia. It states that basal insulins are used to control glycemia while reducing hyperglycemia. It adds that prandial insulins are used to reduce postprandial hyperglycemia .
