Abstract
The article presents information on a study aimed at assessing the suitability of a spectrometer for long-term monitoring of main reactive nitrogen species under free tropospheric air conditions. In the study, a quantum cascade laser based absorption spectrometer was used for continuous and direct measurements of nitrogen at a high-altitude monitoring site at Jungfraujoch.
