Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 57-year-old woman with a past medical history of diabetes who was found lying in bed and apneic by her partner. Topics discussed arrival of an ambulance and a fire engine with Emergency Medical Services (EMS) provider, mentions the role of an oropharyngeal airway (OPA ) that was removed in favor of successful placement of a laryngeal mask airway (LMA), and information on the extensive Physical and Occupational Therapy.
