Abstract
The article discusses the nomenclature of Orobanche and Phelipanche. The author notes that phylogenetic analyses as well as morphological and karytological differences support splitting the genus Orobanche sensu lato into the two genera Orobanche and Phelipanche. The author discusses the nomenclature that the journal will use for the parasitic weeds.
