Abstract
Neonatal lupus erythematosus (NLE)is characterized by typical clinical features and the presence of maternal autoantibodies. The major clinical manifestations in neonates are cardiac, dermatologic, and hepatic. A previous paper reported the association of maternal Sjogren's syndrome, systemic lupus erythematosus and NLE. In the present report we describe a case of NLE born to a mother with mixed connective tissue disease (MCTD). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
