Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 22-year-old G4P2 woman presented to the emergency room at 37 weeks of the gestation period after being struck by lightning. It notes, the uncomplicated pregnancy with prenatal care initiated in the first trimester having no fetal abnormalities. It discusses the neurodevelopmental assessment for the child at the age of four, revealing profound global impairments, predictive of severe permanent disability and taken under care.
