Abstract
The article offers tips to assist neophyte researchers in foreign, comparative, and international law (FCIL). Among the tips for librarians, law students and attorneys are using free research guides, learning from the expertise and experiences of fellow librarians, testing the limits of existing subscriptions, and exploring secondary sources like the "Index to Foreign Legal Periodicals" from the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL).
