Abstract
The article presents a meta-analysis of women experiencing higher rates of adverse events during treatment of Hepatitis C virus (HCV) in HIV infection. It says that adverse event (AEs) during HCV therapy discontinues the treatment. The results suggest that antiretroviral regimen is important predictor of adverse events treatment discontinuation (AETD) during HCV therapy and must be also explored as predictor of AEs in HIV/HCV coinfection trials.
