Abstract
This article discusses the establishment of a biobank of gastric tumor organoids (GTOs) that retain the characteristics of primary tumor tissues. The response of GTOs to drugs was found to be correlated with the long-term prognosis of individual patients, suggesting that GTOs can be used as a model for predicting drug efficacy in gastric cancer treatment. The study also found that GTOs preserve the genetic characteristics of primary tumor tissues and exhibit distinct gene expression profiles based on different subtypes of gastric cancer. The findings highlight the potential of GTOs for personalized medicine in gastric cancer treatment. This research provides valuable insights for personalized medicine and improving treatment outcomes for patients with gastrointestinal tumors. [Extracted from the article]
