Abstract
The article discusses a study conducted which investigated the use of several global coagulation methods in the measurement of prophylaxis treatment efficacy in patients with haemophilia A. According to the author, coagulation methods including thrombin generation assays (TGAs), rotational thrombelastometry (ROTEM) and calibrated automated thrombingeneration (CAT) can be used instead of pharmacokinetics, to reflect the clinical phenotype.
